Lookin' good JH, take it easy at first so ya don't get da bleedin' nose from the extra altitude. ;)
Also, just to make the whole rest of your life that much more rewarding...
Keep the sun behind you when taking kodaks & you'll be mucho happy with the results.
Yay... Now go flying around some corners and see how easy it is to drive on 2 wheels now!

looks good. Hows is the quality of the rims? Also did you happen to weigh 1 before mounting a tire?

Ldub: I have a setting on my camera for "sun behind object" that I was testing out and I was pleased with the results. I have a whole other set of pics from the opposite side if you want to see them but I did not like the houses in the back drop so I did not use them. There is a mecca of mild off-roading around my area. I live in a mild country setting where farms are slowly turning into upscale neighborhoods. So while they level the ground and de-tree the area its just ACRES of playground.
Ruf: The rims are 27 pounds but I did not weigh them after the 265/75-16 AT's were on them. But they are still less than my old set up which was around 90lbs. As far as quality they are pro-comp extreme's so I trust the name and their integrity looks good too.
The picture with the measuring stick is NOT a yard stick. A yard stick was not tall enough. That is a 4 foot stick and from ground to top of front fender is 37 1/2''.
Now I need to go get an alignement. The rear travel is great a lot firmer and smoother.
Also I have noticed that since the lift and tires TOD kicks in ALOT more. For example at stop lights it will kick in or when taking normal turns. Any advice? Or so I just disconnect the battery for 45mins?
Drop Brackets? How much and where at on Independent4x are they sold?
Fully berzerk TOD is "par for the course" after lifting/ larger tires...unless you're Kenny. :p
Mine got a little freaked after I put on 285/75x16's, but got nuttier than squirrel $--- after I went to the 33x20's...I disco'd the batt. a couple times (over 1 hr.) since then & it doesn't help. I don't know if there is a cure.

Congrats, On the lift.....looks good.
I got my 912"s put on this weekend as well. Thanks.....Tone!!!
I took it over there and he got them put in pretty easy. The torsion bars were a different story. He tried his impact wrench and then he yook it to another shop and they couldn't turn it either. He said we could try to heat it also. It maybe either maxed out or just frozen..
Looks good though as it sits though.....

Fully berzerk TOD is "par for the course" after lifting/ larger tires...Not sure why you guys are having TOD problems - I've been lifted and had 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers since mid 2002 and never had any TOD related issues. I actually had a shop install my springs and crank my torsion bars, so I don't know if they reset the computer at that time, but I know it's been reset numerous times since then.
Some do & some don't...
Kenny's was gettin' a little weird after he put on larger tires, then went back to "normal" after he lifted it.
It's all a mystery to me.

JH,
Those rims look awesome on the Ironman. I'm constantly amazed at what some of you Forum Users are finding to customize your rides, and they all look REALLY GOOD. I can tell that you've taken the time to adjust the mods to your specific colors and needs.
Bart's Teflon Chambers look fantastic on the Ebony , and your rims look perfect for the Victory White! Very nice work.

It's all a mystery to me.Maybe the new tires aren't being balanced properly? Not aired up evenly?

Lookin' good J, but don't let it go to your head. You still haven't gone head to head with my Vampire Ninja Frog. :p
