Can someone provide detailed instructions as to how to easily remove the grab handle end covers in the upper corners of the interior.

Pinching and pulling do not work.

i dont remember the ones from the front.. id assume they are the same as the rears.. here is how i did the rears..

pull cover as far from handle as possible (straight sideways, not towards you if you are facing the handle)

pinch top and bottom as much as you can

slip flathead screwdriver under 'nose' of cover farthest from handle, twist screwdriver

etlsport has it right. It's the same for the front as it is for the back. I just removed all of mine to sound-deaden the roof.

Pinch and pull, then use a flat head to get them off. The 1st one you do is very frustrating but then they are pretty easy after that.

OK, success. Yes, the first one was tough. After getting the plastic covers off, I now understand how to do this the easiest.

The plastic cover piece's rounded nose end has a lip that catches on the edge of the handle mounting plate that is bolted (Phillips head screw) into the car chassis.

I found that pushing the cover away from the center of the handle provides the least amount of resistance in popping the cover off of the mounting plate. Pinching the cover also pushes the rounded nose a little more. The hardest part is preventing the flat head screwdriver from scratching the plastic panel.
