If you'd have run it up to 100, the speedo needle wouldn't have been in the way. :p

Hope mine makes it that far with no major issues. :thumbup:

When we bought my wife's Proton we had to get rid of a vehicle. We sold her trusty 89 Amigo that had just turned 300,000 miles on the odo and was still going strong. I suspect your VX has just gotten broke in.

I am nearing 85K...with every mile I am thrilled to own it and drive it. On the other hand every mile makes me worry as we can not replace the VX with a new one once it is seen its days. But for now I am planning many upgrades inspired from this site within the next two months.

Any feedback?
