hey all,
i have a program that cancells out vocals from audio cds, (or thats what im hoping it does) before the program can work, it needs a program, like cdex, or
i-tunes, i suppose any program that converts to an mp3.
im running windows xp. ive tried a couple of different places downloads of cdex, and i havent tried i-tunes due to, i think, barts, hatred for i-tunes...........

is there an EASY TO USE cdex ripper that i can use, that you gurus can suggest?? trying to get some accompanyment music set up, and just see how well this program works.

thanks a bunch
david

You might check these guy's cucusoft (http://cucusoft.com/) . I use one of the programs to rip/convert DVD's on to my daughters Video ipod. They might have something, good luck..

I have used CDex from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdexos/
for years to rip CDs to mp3.

Are you having trouble downloading CDex or using it? I've used iTunes also, but prefer CDex for this task. YMMV.

Good luck..

CDex is good, and so is EAC (Exact Audio Copy). Both are free.
