Yes, it was a busy day Saturday…

New Ball Joints (upper & lower)
New Bearings (inner & outer)
New Brake Rotors and Pads (front & rear)
New Rancho 9000x Shocks (front & rear)
13 hours of labor (actually, 26 hours, since there were two of us working on it)

Finally having a VX that handles like it’s riding on rails………… PRICELESS! :cool!:

Two related thoughts:

(#1) What in the world is the deal with the passenger-side upper rear shock bolt placement??? --- The engineer that dreamt-up that arrangement got quite thoroughly cussed this weekend!

(#2) It appears that my handling problems were Ball Joint and Bearing-related… as it turns out, my factory KYB reservoir shocks are all still in excellent working condition (about like a quadruple-dose of Viagra!)

-- Can anyone tell me about what they’re worth?
-- I *might* be interested in selling them.

I've bought several sets from various members for $60-80.00 shipped, seen others for more.
How many miles on yours ?

I forgot to mention, 2 out of the 3 sets that I bought, had one front that was toast.

I'll bet it was the left side shock that was gone. Cos mine did.

What setting do you have the Rancho 9000s at?
