Nitto Mud Grappler !!

i sent an email to nitto,and this is the reply i recieved.can't wait for the other sizes!!

Thank you very much sir for taking the time to e-mail us. Nitto Tire North
America, Inc. will be debuting the mud tire called, "Mud Grappler" this
fall. At this time there will be one size available this fall and a wider
selection will follow in the future. The size that will be offered this
fall will be 38x15.50R18 with a "D" load range. For more information on
this tire please look at the June 2003 issue of "4 Wheel Drive & Sport

Wow. Anyone know how much (if any) lift we'd need for that beast of a tire?

That looks like a serious offroad tire. I really like the tread on that tire. The side wall of the tire need to be more aggresive looking too though (imho). It would be much to large of a size for our VX, but just about right for our Amigo project. Can't wait to see the road tests. Makes me want to get the 4wheel and suv magazine they are talking about and read about this one.

The largest tire you can go with a VX is 36" I believe, BOARZHEAD would know. He just found after lifting it 6" that there is a major part in the way if you go any bigger than 36", So if you want those tires your going to have to go crazy modding it. BOARZHEAD could tell you more about this.
