The members of Import Fanatix(IFX) which has had success in the past of having meets with all the Import Manufactures Represented and average over 100 Cars are inviting you once again to enjoy in the fun. Everyone is welcome and hope that we see a lot of new faces and new cars out there.

The meet is only a week and 3 days away. Can't wait. I'm wondering exactly how many of us are going? Are any VX's from the New England Area going? If so then maybe we could have a little mini meet and caravan down. Drop me a line and let me know.

BTW there will be a $2 cover charge per car as there was a registration and permit fee we had to pay . BTW bring some food/drinks to add to the BBQ

We drove down there (me and NYC #1) and the only one there was another yellow vx. nobody else :confused: we saw a blue import and asked him whats going on and he made a call and said it was postponed till tommorrow :(
Would have been nice to know that before the ride down there. Oh whell at least there were 3, would have been more but we called them off..

WOW I was on my way down with a couple of friends but my friend got rearended here in RI so I just got back from the hospital. They are gonna keep him over night. It's funny cuz we had just passed a statey and was going the limit when a Ford EXCURISON decided that he needed to pass on the right break down lane. It's illegal here in RI but in Mass you could do it all the time. Well he saw he had the room and moved over but the was another accident in front of us so we had to slow down and then "BANG" tha's when he hit my friend. It's a good thing we always leave at least 2 to 3 car length in front us open at all times just for those things. Maybe next time.

Those are some sweet rides. I wish I was there. But we will be there tomorrow. I hope no hard feelings. I would have hoped that you guys would have checked the IFX thread to make sure, but its all good. at least you guys were representing the VX. But I hope that some of you can still come tomorrow.

We are having a BBQ and hopefully play some b'ball or something

I was in the area and was toying with the idea of stopping by but just didn't get a chance. Good thing - I would have had no way of knowing about the rescheduling. Oh well, as I flew in I wouldn't have had the VX anyway. Spent a lot of Saturday in NYC at the USS Intrepid and doing a helicopter tour. Pretty nasty weather most of the afternoon. Sunday was very nice though wher eI was and should ahve been for you all too. My first trip to NY/NJ and had other relatives there visiting my bro in Hoboken too so we were just too busy since I had only 3 days there. Barring some unforeseen disaster, I will be at the Ocala meet back here near home.
