Ben from Stric9 (http://www.stric9engineering.com/projects.htm) has done it again - and just finished/shipped the sliders for my yellow baby.

Should be here on Monday - so I'll throw up some pix then.

I know there are a few companies now that do sliders for the VX, but can say without a doubt theirs are the beefiest, toughest looking I've seen... :yeso:

If you're conisdering a set, check em' out.

Those sliders look so sweet. Very beefy. How much did they set you back?

300 bones. 40 for shipping.

The sliders are raw, but I'll get them finished locally.

Nice, biju! One question... black or yellow?

biju

Black, possibly hammered black.

We'll see...

Thanks Biju! I can't wait to see how you decide to coat them. When I went to the powdercoater, there were 500+ colors and varying finishes to choose from.

I would totally go Proton for the sliders but hammered would look pretty tight too.

sliders are back from the powder coaters... had them done in a textured black - and they turned out really nice.

they get installed this tuesday by 'off road innovations' (ORI) in broomfield, co.

i'll post some pix then.

Good choice of colors, you'll be able to do Moab related touch-ups with bed liner. :naughty:

Ben from Stric9 posts quite often on WheelingArizona.com. If you have any ???'s you can probably get an answer there. Don't know why their site is down...may be doing maintenance of having server problems.

i had the sliders powdercoated after Ben shipped them to me to save on banging them up during travel. besides, there truly are hundreds of colors, finishes, etc - and it was best i was there in person to chat with my powdercoater to get exactly what i wanted. (just food for thought...)

i'm asss deep in my car audio build, so i'm finding it difficult to stop to take pix and post. (yeah, i'm lazy - i know). however!... bimati was over this a.m. (Thanks again Jeff!!!) to assist me in installing my OME 912 springs for the lift, and he got some pix of my VX with the sliders on. if he sends me them i'll post those...

That looks great biju - I didn't realize they would stick that far out there! Have you used a Hi-Lift on them before?

biju

Yeah, they truly do provide 'step bar' function as well as protection. the bar angles up, so to clear the cladding in front and back they had to come out a bit.

Me likey tho.
