roof rack/towers

I just bouhgt yakima wing bars I found on ebay and got the wingrider 2 tower mounts only to discover they do not fit they are to short. does anyone know what type of tower mounts can be used on my vx with my wing bars

I'm pretty sure only the stock towers will work with the stock bars. You should do a search for "roof rack". There are some good threads about options.

I did the search but found no specifics on the towers
with the yakima wing bars

well... i might be parting out my OEM rack that's missing one tower. if i did that, you'd have 3 of the 4 - but would also inherit my 3 of the 4 dilema. :p

come to think of it, i'd only have 2 of the 3 available as i *think* i told another .info member that he/she could have dibs on one of the towers if i sold em.
