Hey guys & girls, I have been looking at a white Ironman VX, thinking real hard about buying it, so I hope I can join the family here, I will have lots of questions...My wife and I were not thinking about a new car until we saw our first VX about 2 weeks ago, we both fell in love with it so she wants to dump here 4 runner and get one, keep ya posted.

Much cooler and easier to say VX than Vehi -Cross. V=Vehi and X=Cross

I love the look of it, I do have a boat I need it to pull around town, it weighs about 3700 lbs. don't think it should be a problem.... definitely want to lift it, I like the front nerf bar,,,, hhhhmmmmm should I keep going!!!! ;Do;

If everything goes well I shold have it next week.... How are the engines in a Isuzu, the 3.5 a good motor??????
Isuzu has made some great tough motors! They make the Duramax diesel for GM. The 3.5L pulls strong and most of them seem to last a while... there are those select few that give up the ghost a little early though. Some people have experienced gasket leaks at the manifold, I believe; and the oil disappearing is a strange occurance. Otherwise, my own personal experience with my 3.5L has been great. I am about to hit 58,000 miles on my '99 without issue since I bought it a year and a half ago.

Well that sounds good, Whats the biggest tire I can put on it without lifting?
Depends on the width and offset of the wheels. I believe stock rims can carry 31.5" tires without issue. Do some searching and you will find how easy it is to lift the VX and that a little trimming can help out quite a bit.

31" would be fine for what I'm after, what bolt pattrern does Isuzu use????
Welcome...
6 x 5.5" (6 lugs) is the Isuzu bolt pattern...but you need a large center bore of 110mm. I'm doing this from memory, so if 110mm isn't correct, someone correct me. But I am sure of the bolt pattern. ;)
