I was concerned about that as well when I got mine, i.e. that prices seemed to be lower than what I expected
BUT, I'm having faith as VX's get more and more rare that prices will stabilize and then appreciate, albeit slowly
Besides, I used to own two Alfa's so needless to say, I'm not terribly concerned about resale value, I like to enjoy my cars for a long time :)

i hope prices will appreciate later on, thats why im planning on making my VX as a weekend car so i can same up some milege and not to push it so much. I mean VX is already rare car because there is not that many left in US out of all that were imported. I think VX is a unique car because its not like any other car. Just my thoughts

Screw that , at this rate I'm gonna collect them ALL!!!! Hmmm, a rock rig, a rally rig, a mudder, a beater, a street racer, a prerunner, or just one to drive around in, how could anyone not be happy about this kind of thing(unless you're thinking of selling(shame on you :p )). You could pick up an extra just to have spare parts for in the future. To me this is absolutely amazing that you could find this kind of vehicle for so cheap. And if you think that price is bad check out the one Dino picked up in Hawaii for $5,000.

yeah i saw that one thats such amazing price and its Hawaii )) Well im not planning on selling my VX no matter what because i dont think i would find any other car that would be same fun and unique to drive for that money like VX.

Now don't get me wrong either, I really feel for the members who bought theirs when they originally came out and had to pay full price, and who are now seeing their resale values plummet, but to me they paid that extra money for the longer amount of time they were able to enjoy the vehicle while the rest of us had to sit by the sidelines and just drool. I know when I saw my first VX, that I wanted one for sure, but when I heard how much they were, the reality of owning one all but disappeared for me, but now, people who really appreciate them, but can't shell out 30 grand at the drop of a hat can enjoy them too, and I think that is just great. :yesy:

Man, I am really starting to feel like I got screwed! I paid $14,5 for mine a year ago, granted, it had only 28k miles and it was so black and pretty I just couldn't resist, but still.

If anyone has a Foxfire they don't want I'll give you $4000 for it!

14 with 39k in feb 2006... mines not going down in value.. in the last 6 months ive gotten 2 offers for 15k and one for 20k... they may have been just talking.. but one guy offered to go get a cashiers check for 15 that day

I forget what I paid - I feel better that way! :) I know I owe $9000 though and have 58k miles, so I should still come out ahead IF I go completely nuts and sell my VX sometime soon.

What I find odd is how many more VX's you can find on eBay in comparison to an Amigo. Right now - Amigo = 2 and VehiCROSS = 6 There is always at least one VX for sale on eBay! :confused: Where are they all coming from?

1. I didn't buy it as investment (which you must sell at some point), and,
2. When I wear this one out, I'll be in the market for my next one.

I'll chime in on this one-I won that auction-I made and arrangement for the seller to sell to me for $8,800 and end the auction-but because of proxy bidding
it only looks like $6,600.I got the car home (a 3 hour drive) broken headlight,
non functioning door locks passenger window fell out of the mounts(I reglued it
today-hope it sticks).Pretty good cosmetically though-needs a sound system
badly-back speaker blown and only a cassete deck(somebody yanked the cd changer.I'll be glued to this forum from now on just because of necessity,and the damn thing looks so frickin awesome,I really enjoy seeing what the community has done to modify and enhance this awesome moon buggy!
