Just an FYI for Virginia residents or those that travel through the state:

Seems pretty excessive to me. :(

Yeah that has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I'm glad that I don't speed. Now I have to convince my girlfriend to slow down cause I'm not going to help her pay that kind of ticket.

Well hell, have you ever shared the road with a VA driver? They are even worse in a parking lot.

*poke poke nudge nudge* :p

And even worse when that parking lot is I-95 in the greater Baltimore-Washington-Richmond metropolitan area (45 miles each way, 5 days a week -&*$%*^%(&*).

HA! Did the Stafford to DC commute every day from '91-'00. Leaving the house early enough in the am to get into the HOV lanes before HOV-3 started, then having to time my departure from the office to hit the southbound HOV entrance just at the time HOV-3 ended. Sitting in traffic on the 14th St Bridge 2x a day sucking your will to live! :(

Oh, how I miss it. NOT.

Zorak - I envy your escape from my nightmare commute (been doing it since 83 - am I that old?).

There ain't no windows of opportunity to miss the traffic anymore, it's 24 & 7.

I do Massaponax to Lorton and my record is 7 hrs 45 min to go 45 miles (but that was the day after 9-11).

I asked my wife the other day if we could move half way between her job and mine ... she just laughed.

remove your rear seats completely.. then you only need 1 passenger to ride in hov-3 :)
