How many cinderblocks can you fit in the back of a VX?
24 (neatly stacked so they don't tear up the interior).

With rear seats or without?

Seats were in but tumbled forward.
BTW - you could probably fit more but at the risk of gouging your interior. Then again, who in their right mind would haul cinderblock in a vehicle they wanted to keep the interior nice in.
Oh Yeah, that was me.

Yeah, Cinder blocks can FUBAR your interior quickly. I hauled a bunch in my Xterra along time ago and mangled it pretty good on the inside. :)

Yeah, I not only want a quad & trailer, but I was thinking a trailer would be nice and handy for hauling wood and stuff....

NAW! Trailers take up too much room in the yard. Besides, that would be too logical & we can't have any of that going on around here.

if we all got trailers, we could jack them up and put big tires on em!! and i hear they're nice for holding big coolers for beer... I mean soda.

I have one of those hitch "shelves" or whatever they're called - comes in handy for hauling small loads (also have the 4x8 for stuff that wont fit on it or in the back) - I've loaded 16 bales of pine straw (4x4 stacked) without an issue - just have to tie it down real good. It's also great for camping - you put your big cooler back there and waterproof gear bags - lt easier to get to things than loading on top.

How would something like this help?

There is another brand I can't remember that's not so heavy-duty and was smaller, seemed at the time that it would work pretty good in a VX without back seats.

I told you - that's too logical. Can't be a part of any of that kind of stuff.
Next time I'll just take the TLC. I could probably fit a hunnert in there.
Actually, I have a 6x12 for when I need it.

John,
The "hitch shelf thinggy" probably wouldn't work too well for me since I have the 33x12.50 hanging on the back door.
BTW - I just learned that a basketball goal will NOT fit in a VX (unless you take it out of the box. (LOL)

When did you join the girl scouts?
It looks like you had about 24 in there (& they look about the same size as a cinderblock).

ETL,
I see that the girl scout cookies and the 600 cans of food weren't enough - I saw the pix you posted of hauling 4x4s, 2x4s, 1x3s & plywood. Yer nutz. VX abuse will get you kicked out of the club. Now I hear you're even using it as a tow truck.
What's next? Installing a keg cooler so you can be a beer truck on weekends?

Ha, I sure did miss you guys this last week!
I hauled some gravel last weekend in mine, but I cheated. I put a super heavy cardboard box (Low sidewalls - about 8") in there and lined it with a tarp. Then I shoveled the rock into it.

I'm getting 10 tons of pea gravel this weekend. I cheated tho. I'm having it delivered. I don't think the VX would ever forgive me for a load like that.

Woah, if you could get 10 tons of pea gravel in your VX, that baby would be cross eyed and probably pee gravel everywhere you went!
BUT - The picture would be pricless!!!
