Remanufactured engine now has a knock sensor low output engine fault. I'm guessing that it just needs to be replaced. I think it's under the intake. If so I had a coolant leak where the hard pipe goes into the coolant manifold and some coolant puddled under the intake. I also had the dealer replace one of the intake manifold gaskets that was leaking and causing my vehicross to die at idle. I'm assuming that it was either damaged by the coolant or when they replaced the intake gasket. Does this sound right and does this fault sound like a bad sensor that needs replacing or a bigger problem?

Thanks Guys,

BTW, I searched and found nothing.

not sure abouot the other stuff but your intake manfold gasket is caused by overtorquing of the bolts.. they are spec'd at 19ft lbs and there was a service bulletin that now specs it at 13 ft lbs i believe..
