So another VX meet has come and gone. We had 6 VX's show up and a few guest appearances. Attendees were me, Bob (VXCaver), Jeff (TucsonVX), Victor (VCamilo), his girlfriend Stephanie, and his friend Uma from India, Tracy (Cyronman) drove up from San Diego, Tim (SBC) and his wife Tracie, and our long distance award winner Alexander (Uncle Asa) all the way from Russia who did a fine job wheeling the rental car (wait for the video ;eeky; ). Thanks Billy for all the pictures. I will try to post mine tomorrow. But your pretty much tell the story. I will investigate more capsites around there in the next few months. A friend told me that if I follow the main rim round about 30 miles in we can cap on the ledge of a huge rock at 7,500 ft of elevation and about a 3,000 foot drop.

Alexander thanks for making the super long trip and for bringing us the new toys. Hope you have a great day hiking the Grand Canyon and a safe trip home! Also got to meet an ex VX owner while walking around the art galleries with Victor down in Phoenix. A lot of you probably remember Jay Photo. His was out there pimping some of his art work and comics that he does the art for. He's now cruising the streets in a hot rodded Mustang!

Yep.....Traci had never been there so when we got to the top of the hill i took her over to the edge of the guard rail to show her the cars and parts pilled up at the bottom that couldnt be recovered........Canyon Lake is closed to boating? NO WATER IN IT! first time ive seen that.

I haven't been around for ages and today I saw a VX on the road and I figured I might as well stop by and see what is going on.

Nice pictures TRI.. I have moved on to an FJ and we usually hit table mesa every Friday evening. I will always have a soft spot for the VX.
