So I have several of these cheap chi-com floor jacks that everyone else has. My big one that actually lifts the VX up without spaches has lost it. It can get up about 1/2 way and then there is no more resistanse in the handle and it won't go higher. Now granted I can get another for about $40, but are these easy to repair? Is it a valve, o-ring, bleed it out? Ideas?

sounds like it is low on fluid. Put some ATF in it and see what happens. Usually a drain/fill plug by the end opposite the shaft.
