Couldnt deal with the stock rims.
Went for some Dick Cepek DC1s in Silver and blk.
17x9s and some Michelin 275-60-17s.
Turns out the new rim/tire combo actually weighs less
then the stock wheels and tires.
Michelin is known for having less heavy tires then most
manufacturers out there. Combined with the Cepek wheel
it came out to be a nice package.

Looks good...always good to lose weight, particularly at the corners

Looks pretty good, now all you have to do is hit that grey cladding with some mothers back to black and it will match the black on those new rims!

Damn, reminds me.... I wanted to get my Enkei's done before this winter. Wanted the spokes powdercoated a bronze/gold, leaving the outer lip silver. ala-Gram Lights style. Ah well, looks like I am down for the wait again.
Nice looking wheel Az. Kinda like a shuriken/glaive thing going on in there, heh.

Hi, no secret but I buy all my stuff wholesale thru my
shop. These came from a Cepek wheel distributer outta Phx.

I almost always suggest getting tires locally for a few
reasons.
Generally after shipping cost, youll spend about the same
money.
If you have any warranty or balancing issues, you can take
care of it locally, faster, easier and cheaper.
Plus you get to support your local economy (and shops) which
is always nice.
That said, my tires I actually picked up used off a friends Suv
pretty cheap and great shape and Michelins was a plus.
But I can get you the rims for about $190 each plus shipping
caps included.

finally got around to cleaning up my cladding...
got a feeling Ill be doing it at least once every few months
depending on how often I wash it.

but it came out pretty decent for 100k miles on it.

When I clean up the cladding I usually spray a bunch of tire shine all up in and around the wheel wells too. It has a way of making the vehicle look new. The cladding looks much better now but the wheel wells are still nasty ;)
Just a tip, not knockin on you at all :)
This is what I use for the cladding and then I just use what ever tire shine I get for the wheel wells (two different products).

its cool thanks..
only issue with too much tire shine here in Az
sometimes it ends up picking up alot of dust...
and then your tires get brown and dusty haha.
But thanks for the tip.
This pic they look nice :)
