"An air dam is a projection of the body shell underneath the front of the chassis. Its function is to reduce the amount of air turbulence and drag underneath the car, and to channel air to the radiator". For example:

I know this thread may appease the interest of the Road Warrior Vxer (if I had my way I would have 2 VXs. 1 for Off Roading & 1 for Street Racing, but living in NYC, there is concrete everywhere so I chose to go the "Street Demon (http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/2/225bantan021503.jpg) " route), However everyone is welcome to give input. BTW I admire the Off Roaders. Guess I will have to stick to mountain biking to satisfy my off roading urges.

Now back to my regularly scheduled program:
Has anyone looked into this MOD?
Usually the easy way is to, modify an item already in production, is there anything on the market that can fit?
Does anyone know of an after market fab shop?
Ron, how about Modding your skid plate?

What I have in mind:
Not too out rageous, only reducing front clearance about 3 to 4 inches.
Fog light housings similar to the parking lights.
Color similar to the OEM cladding.
bolt on, with a factory look.

Don't cry Bantan... I replied to your post. I think it's a decent enough idea, but am unsure of how much decreased temp is going to take place.

I just think it would look cool... but it wouldn't last long on mine, even on the roads, I like to do u-turns whereever and the curbs end up being my little city playground.
