Well my xmas was craptastic. I backed into a trash can and busted the plastic covering my drivers side tail light. My truck is now used and abused:( . My question is do I have to replace whole light itself? Also does any other rodeo/amigo/trooper have same light I can swap out or do I need see if merlin has them? I guess... Or is someone awesome enough and want to sell one to me?

Well 172.31 dollars and a 6 week possible waiting period. Anyone else know where I can look or have a spare they would like to get rid of...

That sucks. Maybe you can find some transparent red tape for now! ;)
JK. I've done that a few times, low garbage cans are basically impossible to see without a backup camera. Was it like a dumpster? Lucky for me they were only rubbermaid cans and didn't do any damage.
I would start looking at scrap yards

If you find one in a scrap yard, look and see if there is still the interior roof light. I would like to add a second to the roof, put it in back near the back door and tie it in with the other. Also looking at hooking the back door into the interior lights, can't see a thing when you open that thing.

I did a Dumke too. A while back I was tossing scrap lumber into a trailer hook to the beloved VX. One bounced wrong and flew out & hit the right side tail light. It cracked the reverse light portion. I pieced it together and schlepped the inside with clear RTV. The only problem was that the 'clear' RTV ... wasn't. @##%#$. It'll hold till summer though so I can take my time and test some other clear RTVs to find one that actually sets up clear.
Keep us posted tho in case I need to replace mine.

That's a darn fine idea actually. Post a thread about this if you do it.
