Black Hood Insert

Hey guys,

Just wondering, does anyone know how the black hood insert is removed from the hood. Does it just pop off, or is it glued on somehow? Want to get it modified and they need it at the shop.

You need to take off the underhood mat by prying off the plastic disks. Some may break, so order from St Charles. Many bolts hold the insert onto the hood. Some are at the very back edge. You might want to replace the seal with new soft (One side sticky) weatherstripping foam, wax the hood paint, and clean out the two front drain holes/fittings.
