could be many things. your best bet is to have the abs code read at the dealership. tell them you just need the code read and are planning on doing the work yourself. the replacement parts are expensive if it is wheel sensor. but it could be something simple like your brake need replaceing. i think it was like 69.00 for them to read my code.

good luck

My ABS light has been on for a while, and I have a scan guage and there is no code. Is there another way to read the code for ABS?

the abs codes are different than the regular diagnostics code.. my friend whos also my mechanic in case i cant do work myself also said he was not able to read the codes because they are isuzu specific and only isuzu dealers are able to pull them :(

I had the same issue and the dealer charged me $80 to give me the codes.

yeah i don't remember what the code number was but my mechanic told me it was the hydralic block under the hood that needed replacing and i ordered one from the junkyard from 90.00. installed it myself noproblem, reset the computer and no more light.

I own a generic code reader and it's fine for most codes, however the ABS unit produces its own codes that aren't picked up by the reader - I also tried Autozone and Pep Boys and neither could pull the ABS codes - why I resorted to the dealer.
