Why is there such a big difference in price from Tone's kit to the ones on e-bay? I know nothing about either kit, so please don't take any offence.

Tone's kit is plug-and-play so you can revert if you need to. Most of the eBay kits require you to cut wires and splice in new. Tone's kit also comes in different temperature bulbs and there's an optional adapter that leaves the HIDS on when the bright lights are on.

This is my suggestion and recommendation:

Obviously get the dual lamp one as the single lamp one is for motorcycles with only one headlight..... This specific kit works perfectly in our VX's headlight housing and uses one HID bulb per headlamp and uses a reflector to aim the bulbs higher when hi beams are on..... I have the installation down to about 30 mins per side let me know if you need any help, this is probably still my favorite mod.
