Yep, I Line-Xed a bro on my VX. I used the magnetic bra that I purchased from someone on the forum and used that outline. I came out really good. I'll send pics later.

I like how the Line-X bro looks so much I now want to Line-X the front cladding to match. Here's my question...........I know Line-X will adhear to metal, but how good will it adhear to our cladding. Has anyone every used Line-X on our cladding?

What are your thoughts?

Peace.

Hey Don,
You can have it for what I paid for it plus shipping. You should have taken when we met for the mini Dallas meet a couple of weeks ago. That would have at least saved on the shipping. :)

Let me know if you want it.

Peace.

p.s.
This magnet bra has never been used. I bought one earlier and it had bubbles on it. The guy who made them was really cool. He said sometimes, he doesn't know why, some of his product had bubbles on it. He sent me another, and I told him I didn't need the part that holds the magnet bra to the edge of the hood. I already had that from the first one he sold me. Anyhow, he sent me another one. I haven't opened the box. It may or may not have the edging that holds bra to the edge of the hood. I'll send you the edging from the first one he sent me also.

There has been a few VX's with line-x cladding. If the cladding is properly cleaned and preped it sticks great. Search "line-x" and you will find a good selection of reading on the subject. Grandpa Bob was the first to get his done and his lasted great even with the abuse he put it through. Seems the price is about $350-400 to get it done.

Done properly (mostly prep) it'll never come off. Might want to think about keeping those bolts free to turn.

Definately remove the cladding to have it done. Small corks in the screw holes will keep them open for ease of reinstall. The line-x comes in differant courseness's. I like the looks of the finer stuff.
