Warrantied window repair

Just got the VX back from the local shop in Aurora. I had the infamous "window won't stay aligned in the track" problem on the passenger side, it would roll forward and leave a gap of maybe 1/4"!

They REPLACED THE WINDOW! I was shocked, that's not cheap. Brand new glass. Seems to work ... for now.

Be careful.. that is not the fix! The forums have pretty much recorded the problem and the required fix. See phines/senihluap's instructions to adjust the tracks.

In the meantime to keep the problem at bay, use a silicone spray down the tracks on a regular basis especially if you notice the windows slowing down when you raise them.
