For those of you who have replaced your brake pads with stock Isuzu/ pads; what are the little packets of goop that come with the pads for? There is a packet of orange goop and a packet of black goop. I am guessing that the orange goop is to lubricate the shafts of the brake calipers so they slide back and forth easier, but I can't figure out what the black goop is for. Anyone know?

Anti-squeel for the pads and shims?

That's kind of what I figured, but where exactly does it go? Between the shims? Between the shims and the back of the pad? Between the shims and where they contact the caliper? All of the above?
Seems like there's enough to coat everything if you needed to.

Any info. I ordered new OEM pads and don't know exactly where to use the orange and black goop. Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
