I have been looking around for some deals on S/C oil and surprisingly, there is little to nothing online. Locally, I get GM S/C oil from a Chevy dealer, but man, they want $16 per 4oz bottle. I don't know about you, but this is pretty pricey as far as my knowledge goes. And I have yet to come across any other brands, even synths. None. Nada. Zilch. I hate relying on the Chevy dealer and their price, but so far have had no choice.

From what I have found online, there are some 3rd party vendors who have it cheaper. Up for $5 cheaper per bottle, but I would probably end up paying that up for shipping.

Does anyone know of any other options? Come up with any hidden replacement products or vendors that are worth looking into?

I don't know of any other S/C oils, but it's only supposed to be changed every 50k or 100k miles, so who cares if it costs you $5 or $16 the one time you will need to change it?

I just want to give it a good flush, meaning:

Drain it
Fill it
Put 1,500 miles on it
Drain it
Fill it, again
Leave it

Was hoping there was a synthetic out there I had not come across. I just did my 30k on my Rex and went synthetic EVERYWHERE possible. It might be all in my head, but I seriously feel like it made a difference, so thought I would see if there was a S/C alternative as well. I still haven't found anything though, so I imagine it's a lost cause. *shrug*
