The Valentine Radar detector is great except The suction cups that hold it in place on the windshield are Lame.
After many attempts to get the detector to stay in place, I bought some 1 7/8ths (46MM) Velcro rounds at Lowes. I superglued the Velcro loop portion ( remove backing) to the suction cups then attached the fabric portion to the loop portion- removed the backing & pressed it onto the Windshield ( no super glue applied here).
Works like a charm- Valentine stays in place but can be removed if necessary.
