front driver cv axle removal not removing

having trouble removing axle, the cv shaft is locked in the differential housing, it should have a circlip that will remove it, by poping it out of the bore spline clip locator, (slot), broke a tool in the process of failure, thinking the clip crossed the spline on installation, and locked from forcing it in, any suggestions? 1999 ironman model, joe.

Hi these are very tight - you just need a bigger lever bar - try to make the levering action even by using two bars opposite - you can take the cv joint to bits if required and use a slide hammer hooked into the remaining section but its alot of mess
