Hello all....

The check arm on my rear door recently broke...just sorta snapped with a loud ugly sound when I opend it up the other day. Half of it is attached to the door, the other half is in the frame of the car...

I have located a replacement part, but was wondering if anyone has ever replaced this particular component, and if there was any advice on "how to" or at least "how NOT to" do so...

Looks like a lot of the trim at the interior opening of the rear door will have to be removed to access the connection point on the frame...anyone have the proper steps of removing these trim peices? I can just see me getting it off and ending up with "extra" peices when I try to re-install them...:).

As always, any advice would be a big help, and greatly appreciated!

I have one on order. Mine folded up so I was forced to remove the assembly. Not much to it really. You just have to pull the panel back to access it after you remove the screws.
