A story about Nissan GT-R designer Shiro Nakamura:

"After a jump back to Isuzu in 1989 where he climbed up the ranks for ten years and gave the world what is till today regarded as one of the best looking SUVs ever - the Isuzu Vehicross, he finally made his move to Nissan in 1999.

While the Vehicross, as some would argue, was ahead of its time, it is a design very close to Shiro Nakamura's heart. "The Vehicross was an I-want-todo-it car for me and we did it despite a little opposition from the top. It's a great car and it invented the crossover segment" , says Nakamura. Other cars to have been penned by the design maestro include the Isuzu Gemini, Infiniti FX45, Nissan 350Z, Infiniti Coupe Concept, Nissan Murano and the GT-R. "

Cool article, we have a future classic. The big problem right now is that Japanese classics don’t really have a segment yet. As soon as it explodes and it will the VX will be up there will the NSX and the Skyline. It will happen, just watch. ;)
