Outstanding. As a 40+ individual, I am totally envious of your drive.
The Army keeps me in somewhat shape, but nothing in comparison to a triathalon.
You really should consider an Ironman Edition, though...

A good friend of mine did his first Ironman last month at Lake Placid - #681 @ 11:52:30 - and he seems to be hooked!

A good friend of mine did his first Ironman last month at Lake Placid - #681 @ 11:52:30 - and he seems to be hooked!
Ironman is still my favorite distance. I can go al day at 85-90%...the sprint distance is 110% for just over an hour and hurts way to much! At the begging of my coach for the last few years I took a break from Ironman this year to try to get my speed back...next year will be an all out assault on Ironman Arizona (Nov. 2009) in an attempt to get one of the elussive spots for Hawaii (2010)!:cool:

I'm still too young for triathlons but Give it a decade or so...
You should come out next year for the Xterra Mountain Championships. They're killer!!
Lots of fun to be had around town afterword too.
