The pictures on the NICO site are blocked from my work, but on the ultimate cup holder site they had two cool models. Anybody ever try these? The BCS model looks pretty sick (especially if you have a Foxfire Red VX :))

BCS (Beverage Containment Systems)
$29.95 (polycarbonate) through
$149.95 (high-gloss anodized aluminum)
BCS has four levels of products/materials and finish - polycarbonate through high-gloss, machined aluminum. 3 1/4" - 3 3/4" diameter.
Adjustable center of gravity, cinch cord, sealed bearings, locking mechanism.
Very nice, but designed in a way that assumes that you're willing to put some screws into your interior. Targetted primarily for the off-road crowd.

Of course that assumes you're willing to pay $150 for ONE cup holder.

Thanks for this post! I need a good cupholder for one of the other cars, and the ultimate c/h looks like it'll be perfect!

I'm trying out the Fischer (link above has a metal mount for the rear of the console that I think could be adapted) - we'll see how it works out.

For the price and the impressive number of mounting options that come standard, it might be worth picking this up just to try it out.

Would be interesting to see a comparison of the Trooper cup holder mod (http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?t=4655) vs. the Fischer model. I think the Fischer model looks much better with our interior color (unless you go to all the trouble of dyeing it), but the Trooper model gives you two cup holders. But maybe you could put two of the Fischer models side-by-side? Something else to look at when you try it out.
Be sure to post pics!!!
