Powder Coating Systems are relatively cheap all around. The only problem is you will need an oven large enough for what you want to powder coat. And those can run anywhere from $200 to a couple thousand depending on size, heating source and so on... I know Harbor Frieght has one large enough to fit ONE rim at a time for around $300-$400.. Lastly, I've seen people build there own ovens for about $500 out of Home Depot parts +some, that can fit large items...

I think Ascinder is just using a regular old oven in his garage...at least that's what I have been told...

There have been a few threads about powdercoating in the past... isn't it usually recommended that you strip the chrome off before powdercoating? This kit claims you can coat right over the chrome.
I had an old oven too, just got rid of it last year after it sat in my garage for a couple of years.
