Will any Westin Safari Light Bar work with tones brackets? There are so many different bar numbers, just want to know what wil fit ( with his brackets. 30-0005, 30-0025, 30-0015, are they all the same thing.

O.K. So what I really want to know is if a 30-0005 ( black light bar) will fit. If it does I'm going to buy it and put tones brackets on it.

Says on Tones site that the brackets only work with 30-0010 and 30-0015. I guess I will keep looking for my black bar.

Westin 30-0015 is the black bar you need that will fit the Tone brackets. 30-0010 is chrome that will fit also. 30-0005 and 30-0025 are black, but a different size and will not fit. Just get the 30-0015, put it on and enjoy.

I had that bar on for seven years. It was still in good shape, but lookin' a little road weary. I put a new one on this year to get back that shine. For the brackets, make sure to coat them with primer and then gloss black Rustoleum. To isolate the bar from the brackets, and any migration of rust, use a washer between them. The biggest washer I could find was 2", which is the exact size of the bar and not the best seal there. I cut out washers just over 2" from light gauge galvanized sheet metal and drilled a hole the exact size of the bolt. After it's installed, coat around the washer and the end of the bar with primer and the gloss black.

For the lights, take into account the depth and the clearance. Some of the larger lights with deep reflectors will not fit.

Thanks for the reply. I had found one on e-bay for less and wanted to buy that one. However, it turned out to be the wrong size. I love your bar, and now know what it will look like on my VX. Still waiting for a "deal."
