door lock motor

the drivers side lock actuator/motor siezed up and i had to tear apart the door to unhook it so that i could maunally lock the door. if any one has a spare or is parting out a vx i need one. thank you

Did you have to buy one new? Mine siezed up on the unlocked position...

Do you see anyway that it could be lubed so we can prevent it happening to us that happened to you two:confused:

I would have to investigate. Its the size of a pack of cigarette and should not cost what they are asking for.. $150. It has tiny screws that I could remove to take a look. Since its an electronic piece I might be lube or it could be the motor or something... I will investiagte.
