It is sewer pipes, I think :) I'm going to try to fit snorkel designed for Isuzu Mu, if it succeed I'll post pictures. If not - sell it to my friend with Amigo ;)

Do keep us posted as to the fit.
I had a snorkel on a Land Rover and it provided a ram-air of cleaner and cooler air. On that LR, and another V8 hybrid I owned, it was recommended to run a standard/disposable air filter, and change it out religiously every 4 months, or so. A regular filter box was recommended, as well, so the larger particles and bugs can settle in the bottom. Those are easily vacuumed out at filter changes. I would say that an addition of a snorkel would add 5 hp to a factory airbox'ed VX.
The most important fit issue is going to be the body line of the windshield pitch and flange area where it enters the fender; after that, it is just a matter of plumbing to get it to the airbox or otherwise.
Good luck and post pics.

It arrived. Does not look to be easily fitted on the fender, but looks good on the door side. We will try to fit it anyway. I'm currently looking through the salvage yards to find spare fender to cut & weld...

From the prices I have seen I'd go to Home Depot instead (as previously suggested) and do some custom fabrication..

I was looking at these for potential options...especially the '92 and up Trooper as it might tie in with our stock air-box.

Could be a future project for me to try next summer!

Just as a FYI. What you see in the video is a convex rearview mirror. I had one on my 2001. Really is useless.

if you had it on an 01 dragon.. im assuming you bought bijus old one, hes the only one i know of that put one on a US version...
but that is on the vx in the video, but if you look closer, there is a snorkel that runs out of the engine bay and up the front pillar on side closest to the camera
