This is a fact finding mission.
I saw a gallery post by "georgechang" with FJ Cruiser TRD Limited Edition Wheels on his VX.

The wheels look great. Need to see more pictures! Is there anyway to take another picture from the side.
How did you come across them?
Do the center caps fit?
Any Trimming needed to fit?
Are the tires stock TRD P265/75R16 BF Goodrich® All Terrain Tires

I started some research on these wheels and found there hard to come by. It seem they made 3,200 Special Edition FJ Cruisers in 2007 & 2008.
According to one post on the FJ forum "After searching high and low on ebay, on here, calling online stores...I thought there was no easy way I would get my hands on a set of 5 gunmetal TRD wheels/caps/lugs. They all told me the same thing...I need proof of ownership of a TRD s.e. FJ and a valid VIN because Toyota has put a freeze on the wheels."
Seems a little overkill don't you think.

Wheels specs are 16" x 7.5" with a +15mm offset 6x5.5" Bolt Pattern
The TRD Limited Edition came with P265/75R16 BF Goodrich® All Terrain Tires
Part numbers:
PT904-35070 - Silver
PT904-35071 - Gray Gunmetal
PTR20-35080 - Matte Black

You VX looks very good with the set though.

I'm about upgrade my wheels/tires & there's few wheels that caught my attention, special a set of american racing J R cannon model (18x8.5) the tires are the well popular nitto terra.

Thanks for your comment!

While I was shopping around for a set of rims, I saw a FJ Cruiser parking on the street with this set of rims. So I mark down the rim and tire size. I used photoshop to key in the rims to see how it looks. (It looks pretty good).

The finally step, my friend's staff had the FJ Cruiser with these rims, we took it off his car and put in to my VX for final check with rims and tires fitting before I confirm my order for these set of rims on ebay.

The front cap doesn't fit, I just leave it open. (But it still looks okay to me)

I used 265/75/16 for the tire, cause the supplier don't have 265/70/16 in stock. I have to trim a little bit of the front plastic wheel arch for steering, but you won't notice it.

And I am using TRD P265/75R16 BF Goodrich® All Terrain Tires.

Hey georgechang,

Welcome to the Forum. Thanks for the reply and thanks for the side view.
I also saw a black FJ Cruiser Special Edition with Gray Gunmetal rims the other day and wondered how they would look on a VX, they look pretty good. I'll try the Photoshop trick on my Dragon.

I added your wheel specs to the "Rims Post" so everyone can enjoy.
