Just got done watching the 30 minute daily update. I guess 30 minutes is better than nothing.
With the location change it looks to be a totally differant race. A few early surprises...some of the favorites lost big time in the 1st stage:eek:

I don't get speed, but they have it on Versus!!! Twice daily, 3:30 and 6:30. I set a dialy reminder on the TV. Bob Garland is quite a way down overall.

Speed channel sux! WRC?? not anymore. Dakar? Pharoh's? forget it. But we'll run any piece-of-crap NASCAR junk someone puts together. Great entertainment like 5th gear, or Top Gear??? no way.... but we'll show you a Chuck Norris look alike, pretending to cut, chop, and rebuild a P.O.S. custom van from 1972. And we'll show it 15 times! When no one is driving fast in circles....we'll dig up old NASCAR races from 20 years ago, and run them.:mad: I've grown tired of sending them angry-ex-fan-mail, and outright, hostile hate mail over the last two years. Were it not for F1 coverage, I'd have dumped them long ago.:mad::mad:

hmm, sensing a little pent up anger. My suggestion, drive your VX for a couple hours on some backroads, then turn on Versus and watch some off-road racing!

best video to date on the show tonight. The terrain with the dunes would have to be a killer.
How surprised would you be tidding off a dune on to a green flat plane and then a 60-0 stop in 2 seconds due to the mud. Man that would be a killer.

How 'bout that American privateer Street! He is having an amazing race so far against the big sponsor boys. If he can keep it up the big boys might be throwing some blank checks his way soon!

Until he got lost yesterday. The problem of being in first. Stopped shurgged shoulders and went off in the wrong direction. Though from that intersection there is no way you could tell which way to go.
I felt bad for the BMW guy that was leading, then missed a couple "secret" checkpoints and got DQ'd. I was like, damn sorry bout the bad luck, then he said, no I did it on purpose to stop my vheicle from overheating. Unlucky bad choice, first to out!
