Time to call Merlin. (are they still there?)

After 8 years and 36,000 miles....it's time to change the serpentine belt. It is starting to show a few cracks on the inside. Perfectly normal, and no imminent failure but I think eight years is pretty good:o and I don't want to wait for it to break. I need to order a tensioner from Merlin....the Gatorback I can get anywhere. This has to be one of the last OEM belts still in use

They are still around. I found the tensioner at my local parts store...it was pretty reasonably priced.

Oh yes he's still hanging around, i spoked with him today placing a order for a PC valve,as always great customer service

Yeah, Merlin is the bomb. I will be placing an order for a full timing belt and head gasket kit sometime in the near future.
