Dome light turns on when turning headlights on???

When I am driving and turn the headlights on, the dome light comes on for about 5 seconds then goes out. If I turn the headlights back off and back on again, the dome light does not return, just the initial time. Anyone had this one before??:confused:

Mine use to just pop on everytime I hit a bump. Now I live without it. Spare bulb for sale

Seems to be the "stumper" so far so maybe it is lil "aliens" lol

You might try visually inspecting every fuse under the hood & in the passenger compartment.
I've heard of Isuzus doing some weird azz things when the fuse from a seemingly unrelated system blows...that's my WAG for the day...:_wrench:

Yah...& mine (2 1/16") started working better & more frequently in sub zero weather, when I zip tied a loose wire on the trans. harness to the cross member... double :_confused
