I recently purchased and set-up a keyless entry remote it has been working fine for about a month. Then earlier today after I drove the VX and locked it with the Fob, a high pitched beeping/buzzing noise started and won't stop unless I'm driving or the lights are on when the vehicle is off. I tried resetting the fob to no avail and disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and the noise is still there. Help please, I don't know what is going on!

If you attempt to lock/arm the car while a door is open, the beeper to send out a solid tone for quite a while. Is it possible that one of your door switches has gone bad, and is therefor causing the alarm system to think you've got a door stuck open?

Do you know how to check for a bad door switch?

quick way is to make sure your dome lights work properly....
check one door at a time...open drivers door...does the dome light turn on immediately? if so then it works....check passenger next, once the dome light has turned off again...
start there...
