I know the game is old school but it serves well for those that don't have a lot of graphics power.

I made an effort to get this up and running. I was playing single player for a bit but my co-workers talked me into getting it into multiplayer mode.

We are meeting on Fridays around 7:00 to 8:00pm MST to whenever

If you have the game and are interested in playing along, dust it off. We use a bunch of custom maps and TeamSpeak for communications. All the files are in a .zip archive to save file searching and downloading in the game.

If you would like to join in, you can still get the game here http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/callofduty/index.html . On the right side you will see a link for the "Digital Purchase"

OK, I JUST built a new PC last month. And I just bought Battlefield Bad Company 2. I hear COD is a lot like BC2. Maybe I should go and get it so I can play with you guys.

Yep Bart, we are still playing CoD version 1 (PC) due to the fact that almost anyone can play due to equipment reasons. I know that there are some really cool newer games out there, especially graphic wise, but not everyone has a PC that can run them. The CoD graphics are still very good and I've added some realism mods so it makes it better. We're just a bunch of dumb 'ol cops blowing some steam off. I'm actually trying to get our "Swat" guys to join in as well and then we'd have enough folks for a war style campaign.

If you'd just like to get on and have some fun throwing some lead around without having to compete with some over achieving script kiddies, this is the place! We will be expanding to United Offense as well and in the near future be switching from CoD to BF1942 and even BF2142 just to break up the gameplay... Of course, I'll post in advance so everyone is on the same page. Some times, nothing is better than playing a classic with your friends...

well i got it on ...did all the maps ..(WOW) alot of mamps ..good . and was ready to play friday.. then a call came in at GRRRRR 6pm.. i got back at 1130....
well this friday im turning off the phone and kicking out eveyone from the computer room..... ill be there.....

Those that want to get on this Friday, Log in extra early, like Thursday or early Friday. New mod (Swat) and its 305MB so, it will take about 20-30 for DL through the game.

If you want, you can download the files and manually install them to the game. Go to www.monchacustomwars.com #5 on the lower right side of the home page is the file location. There is a link to the rules for game play and mod changes as well.

Hope to see you there, Friday night around 7:30pm MST!!

Didn't found the server scott,have no idea why.

Downloaded the new teamspeak,but need some code/password which i didn't had :(

Make sure to visit http://www.monchacustomwars.com there's lots of info there. the center column has a TS viewer, that has the info you seek.

Most of us will be late tonite. We as a unit are getting a Unit Meritorious award at our annual awards dinner.

I myself probably won't be on as I'm nursing a blow out on my left knee again. While running Oso through his agility course, Ed decided to stop working and, well, I fall down go boom! Next week for me for sure

BTW we're back to standard maps as the SWAT mod was a little too buggy..

It's been really cool getting to kill all of you for the last year or so!
It's been greatly theraputic. :)

ive been on for the last 3 weeks and scuba steve and I have only been the ones on ..do we still play this?
