I'm waiting on more details but the date is set. We will be allowed to see the VX-O2. You must drive your VX if you want free parking. Otherwise, it is $8.

We need 10 people minimum and 20 maximum. If we go over 20, I'll have to let them know.

Cost: $6 per person.
Time: 1:00pm guided tour, 2:00-3:00 self tour.

NO TRIPODS. Cameras and video is ok.

Btw, take lots of pictures of the undercarriage, engine bay, and trunk if you can. There was a lot of discussion going on a few weeks ago about cutting a VX to make an O2, but the obvious problem is structural integrity. Would be interesting to know where the designers put all the additional hardware...

i'm trying to confirm that 10 people will qualify but from my discussion, they were hoping for 10 cars since they are also reserving the top floor for parking. This is a special "car club" event that schedule for as a special occasion. There's got to be 10 VX's in the LA area. I just don't know who they all are since I just moved here.

SCHEDULE:

Arrive & VX Swag: 9:30 AM (6060 Wilshire Blvd. at Fairfax Los Angeles,CA 90036)
Vault Basement Tour: 10:00 am to 11:00
Treasures of the Vault: 11:30 am to 12:00 pm (Please meet on the 2nd flr at Treasures of the Vault exhibit)
Standard Tour: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The Museum is located on the southeast corner of Fairfax & Wilshire. Take the I-10 freeway to the Fairfax exit. Take Fairfax North for two miles. The Museum’s parking garage is located on the east side of Fairfax.

PARKING
Parking is free for members arriving in the make of the car club.
Please park on the 3rd level of the parking garage unless otherwise indicated.


For non-member cars, museum parking is $8.00 per vehicle.

Please bring snacks if you'd like. The Cafeteria is closed, but there is a sit down place inside. Bags will be checked. Please make sure I get $6 for each of you and your guest unless you have membership with the museum already.
