I met vt_maverick yesterday. He & his wife are great people. VERY nice foxfire.

I was helping him install his NERF bars & noticed that his carpet was wet on the passenger side (he had driven through some significant rain on the way). I found these 2 threads on the subject but if Y'all know of any other areas to check, help him out & post the info here.

I would say check for the leaks first, but I've also hear that if your heater core goes bad it could dump a bunch of water out.

Thanks for the kind words Tom - we definitely enjoyed meeting you and the wife, chatting over pizza, and driving the infamous "offset from hell". No telling how long it would have taken me to install the bars on my own (especially without metal cutting tools).

I remembered after I saw this thread that I had my windshield replaced about 3 months ago, so maybe it's just that simple. I'll poke around this weekend and see what I find.

There was no smell of anti-freeze so I doubt it is heater core. that was the first thing I checked - I was first responder (years ago) when some guy's heater core ruptured & his wife had some really wicked burns on her legs.
