Excuse me if this offends anyone. I am 61 and I am seeing this world go to hell in a hand basket. But then I receive a email like this, and it gives me hope, that maybe, just maybe we will make it, and it might be something as simple as a song. http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2539741
Thank You Row...
That brought a very large, & much needed smile to my face.
If that is offensive to anyone, please send me your street address & I'll send help...:laughgray

wow thanks for sharing that man. That has always been one of my favorite songs since I was a kid. What a great concept. Thats one of the few good things I have seen come from "globalization".

ROWHARD--- Yes, thank you so much for sharing. The coordination and logistics to pull that off is absolutely mind-blowing, especially considering the many different world "time zones" along with audio/video feeds. Incredible. "AIM HIGH!!!"

That was beautiful. The image of the man dancing in the street with his child made my mascara run. Think how much sweeter the world would be if more people took the time to enjoy the music and dance with their kids.

I too am 61years young, and that gives me hope .
Got misty...
X 2...even the third time I watched.
There is something about watching the beauty & purity of what CAN be the human spirit, that'll always (I hope) touch me there.
As an aside, I doubt there was any need for a global linkup, it looks to me as if they remotely recorded all the artists, & then hit the mix.
I also found this one to be very good...now I wanna get me a sitar & try to channel Brian Jones...:smilewink

LDub, thank you for helping keeping this going. Last night when I started this, I sent the link here to all my email buddies, I hope that maybe other's here will do the same, and maybe some of those can help change things, every little bit helps.
Some more good news...
Rowhard, the vid you shared with us made the "bigtime"...

I'm not very musical, but it might be cool to sit around a fire in Moab and do something. Just a thought.
