My VX is SOLD!

Well, it's done - I have sold my supercharged VX to one of our Russian friends. I will let him identify himself if he wants, but apparently it's no secret in Moscow.

I am dropping it off at the shipping company in NJ this week, but unfortunately for the buyer, it will be a month or so before it gets to its new home. That will be a sad drive for me - it's been a great truck! Time to move on, though... so many wonderful vehicles to own, so little time (but I think I'm off to a good start).

I am guessing that it will be getting a supercharger-to-OEM-manifold transplant and resold or parted out once it gets to Russia. As long as it lives on in one form or another, that's fine by me.

"Next" is already past - we bought a 2008 FJ in January. The cart got in front of the horse on that deal, so I'm just getting back "down" to 4 vehicles: the FJ, my wife's Audi A3, the Mini Cooper S (my DD) and the 928 GT.

I have plans for a couple more classic little gems if I end up in a house with garage space (btw, the 928 stays in a garage at my cousin's rental property when it's not in the driveway), but for now, that mini-fleet is plenty.

Oh, don't even start! I brought it to work today one last time just to make sure everything is running right. Still purring like a kitten... a kitten with big, silver fangs anyway!

Sure hope pirates don't know it's on the open seas. They too may be aware of the rarity of the VX, let alone the S/C and see a great ransom to be had. ;)

They are in the back of the truck already. With so many reminders about them, I'm wondering which you want more, the roof rack or the supercharger! :)
