Hey gang,
So it's my turn for the infamous CD changer Err3 code. After randomly functioning for 1 more week, the CD changer finally gave up. Tone's reset procedure helped me to recover 4 CDs, but 1 more was still being held hostage.
Expired warranty and longer-than-expected financial difficulties led me to take my chances and try to open and repair the unit myself. I think I found the problem and it seems it could be easily fixed if I just had another CD changer to borrow parts from. I know I should get a new, better one, but I simply can't afford it just know.
Does anyone have a damaged OEM CD changer unit sitting around I could use? If there is a compassionate soul out there willing to give it a better use than throwing it into the trash please let me now.
Thanks a lot in advance.
