Has anyone seen the new car Jay Leno is building with some of the GM design guys? It is called the Ecojet (http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/cars/ecojet_shell.shtml). Runs on bio fuel, 650hp, 700+fp tourqe...
Looks pretty sweet (if it were black I think Batman would be envious).

They got to work on the muffler's high pitch sound.

Damn it it's so loud.BUt definetly is a big step foward going completely GREEN

You can't even listen to glen beck's radio shows :p

Can you even think driving thru the hood @ 3:00 in the morning from clubbing.

It's a green car but with a pretty nasty actitude LOL :p

Ours swept...upward! Not a good thing when flying but made hangar/carrier parking much easier!:bwgy:

So how do you silence exhaust at 1600 degrees?

My turbo RX-7 puts out 1650 at the block. Fiberglass melts and only lasts a month before it blows it out the tailpipe. So right now I have two inline stainless steel mufflers with all stainless steel packing, but still too loud.
