The advert says...

"Raised one inch all around. Urethane high-performance spring spacers in rear, torsion bar twist up front. Can be lifted higher, but don’t recommend it; puts too much strain on front CV joints."

Does this sound right? Spring spacers seem like a cheat and I'm not sure what torsion bar twist would refer to.

Thanks,

Check out the 'lift wiki' thread - it gives you the low-down. The spacers are fine, especially at 1". The front suspension is sprung by a pair of torsion bars - a simple adjustment allows you to lift the front of the VX for FREE!! That is what he was referring to. My VX is lifted the typical 2.5-3" in this fashion with Old Man Emu coil springs in the rear.

Honestly, I may be calling you up in a few months. Unfortunately I'm only in the market for lesser candidates until I squirrel up the Caish... :o

If I'm still VX less in 3 months, I just may pony up and call yous! :smilewink

It may still be here.

A 1" lift, though, is not a big deal - shouldnt' hurt the VX at all.

Good luck !!

Psudom3--- Yes, you are correct. Leaving the VX suspension 100% OEM stock (no rear spring lift & no front torsion bar cranks) is the best way to overt CV issues. Remember, by using the stock 2000/2001 OEM 18x7 rims and mounting the General - Grabber AT2 in P275/65R18 (32" O.D./44 lbs) will give you 1.25" increased ground clearance over stock and are "bolt-on perfect" with only minor front cladding trim (no rear spring lift & no front torsion bar cranks required). Sweeeet!!!
