View Full Version : will these rims work/bore size
I'm looking at a 2nd set of wheels for non winter use. Will xd rockstar 18x9 with 0 offset and a 106mm bore hole and 6x1.39.7 bolt pattern work on my lifted vx-assuming I install terra grapplers @ 285/60/18. Mainly I am concerned about bore sizing. The mfg will no longer offer a 100mm bore so is there a spacer / ring for the slightly larger bore?

You shouldn't need a spacer, we are lug centric. The only problem will be during mounting & aligning the studs to the holes since the hub won't be helping you. Really not a big deal. LittleBeast mentioned it in one of his threads.
As far as the offset, you'll have to read through the thread on that but IIRC it sounds right.
thanks tom i'll search that. ;)

I'm still lookin for the LittleBeast thread on his centerbore.
EDIT:
Can't find the thread I'm thinking of but I did find this old one that may give you some of the info you're looking for:

You should be concerned about trimming too. "0" offset will have you trimming front and rear of the front wells. I have 18x8.5 (0 et) and considerable trimming was done to make room for 285/60s.
tom- that second link isn't a thread....it's a horror story! so is our hub bore 100,or 110mm:confused:108mm - H3, Canyon, Colorado, I-350... all share a 110mm bore so wheels made for them should also work for a VX.
Thanks---and if anyone else has advice I'll take it. WormGod I'm going to find your gallery and see what that looks like. Thanks Zeus also:smilewink

Yeah we have 100mm center bore you will be fine there as already stated though with 0 offset you will need to do some trimming on front and rear of both of the front wheel wells, no big deal though easy fix :)
